Founded by Ray Galizia in 1987, Contemporary started out with one simple goal, making plumbing repairs quick and easy for it's clients. No hassle, just professionalism. That mindset has carried the company and has grown our reputation throughout the last 35+ years. Whether it's a basement water heater in 1987 or a boiler system for a multistory apartment complex in 2026, our goal is to provide the same level of communication, expertise & proficiency.

Our Apprentice Program
Contemporary is part of New Jersey’s Division of Labor Apprenticeship program. We offer sponsorship to apprentices, hands on experience for Journeymen working hand in hand with our general foreman, and project managers who have years of experience.
